Cam really knew what she was doing! I signed up for a half marathon training this past spring which also came with her 12-week program for the mental preparation. Different tools were offered and delivered through a group session bi-weekly on Zoom so that we were able to apply in the running training. I must say, 2 months have passed since my half-marathon, and I'm still using some of the tools on my day to day life (Meditation and mindfulness). After working with Cam I can say I feel like a different person. 12 weeks of reflections, and planned workouts that helped me to make sport a habit, what I can see reflected in a very positive way in my daily basis. The practical exercises in a workbook, weekly meetings, and training helped me transform my mental patterns, goal settings skills, and also the HOW to get there through daily actions. As a student and athlete whose brain often feels like it’s scattered in a million different directions, the Train Your Brain workshop was just what I needed to build a foundation of practices for the moments I’m feeling overwhelmed and stressed.
