2024 has been loaded with product updates. As we head into the New Year, there are a ton of exciting updates to Practice that we’re thrilled to reflect on. Although we’re highlighting the top 24, the actualized number is in the 100s — you can always see the full list of changes and improvements on our changelog.

Customize cancellation & reschedule rules
Within your schedulers, customize how clients can cancel or reschedule appointments. Set rules and policies for how your clients can engage with each of your appointments.
Accept payment via ACH
One of the most common client payment methods — Practice can handle the micro-deposit verification for your clients and all automated ACH payment processing.
Appointment quick create
Using your schedulers as templates, easily create appointments as part of a package. Practice will auto-populate meeting title, duration, smart actions, and all the other things defined in appointment creation.
Customize package session tracking
As you progress in a client engagement, track the outcome of each appointment and Practice will apply the rules defined in your package and count (or not) the session against what the client is allowed.
Schedule appointments for subscriptions in the future
For clients on subscription packages, allow them to schedule into the future beyond their current subscription cycle.
Charge for usage-based packages
Just like a credit card — charge clients based on what they use. When configured, set the hourly rate for each type of session and bill clients automatically (or manually) on your custom schedule.
Manually log appointments
Now, you can manually log appointments without sending to the client. So, if there's an appointment not on your integrated calendar, easily create it in Practice.
Integrate Practice with your Google Sheets
Sync all of your data across appointments, clients, packages and so much more directly to Google Sheets with just one click. For Teams and enterprise partners on Practice, we now support a Google Sheets integration!
Flexible packages
Clients might not always sign up for the same number of sessions. With flexible packages, you can customize (or allow clients to input) how many hours or sessions they’d like at the time of sign up or assignment.
Families & Companies 2.0
This year, we've entirely redesigned how companies and families exist on Practice. We’ve streamlined how you track sessions and billing for these types of clients.
Weekly usage-based packages
Now, in addition to setting up monthly usage-based packages you can configure weekly usage-based packages. So it's possible to set your client billing cadence to every week instead of every month.
Add coupons to packages
One of our most highly-requested features, now you can easily provide discounts to clients signing up for packages!
Package booking gate
Control how and when clients can schedule with your packages. With the package gate you have complete control over booking with new and existing clients!
Microsoft Office & Outlook 365
Possibly one of our most popular integrations of 2024 — Launching Outlook & Office was one of our top updates to Practice! Long-awaited, we've adding support for Outlook and Microsoft teams.
Branded email notifications
Now, enterprise teams on Practice can add custom branding and logos to email notifications sent by the system. Notifications for appointments or packages booked (or anything else!) can come from your brand account instead of a Practice domain.
Time-based packages
Customize how you actually track packages; either using Time or Sessions as the mechanism to track completion of a client service.
Easily view the state of your biz
With Today's view, you can see the state of your sessions, packages and clients at a glance.
Track payroll & accounts payable
One of the biggest improvements of the year came in early 2024. Tracking payroll and accounts payable is so crucially tied to the operation of your business — now you have it directly on Practice.
Pause packages
If clients are taking a break (or you are) pause subscription packages and halt their renewal until you’re ready to resume services.
Payroll reconciliation view

Package tracking report: On Track
Keeping track of your client engagement is difficult at scale. Now, Practice will highlight the status of each client and their package as you reduce churn and keep sessions on the books 📚
Charge for subscription minimums
As a tool within usage-based packages, you can charge clients a minimum subscription amount on each of their invoices. Any overage amount is automatically added to their bill and charged in a one-off basis.
